The REMSTAR was specifically designed for usage with our BB-4 fire pumps. Its purpose is to remote start the unit from any distance up to a maximum of 3,000' (914m) line of sight. The new phone option will allow the unit to be remotely started from literally any distance, given the unit is within cell range or from anywhere using a Satellite phone. *The necessary BB-4 configuration in order to use the REMSTAR/OMNISTAR is as follows: BB-4-REM BB-4 Fire pump with REMSTAR ready components BB-4-REM-EP BB-4 Fire pump with REMSTAR ready components including optional Electric primer kit (A-7638) REM-100 REMSTAR retrofit kit allows for current owners of standar Wildfire BB-4 units (either 18 or 23 HP Vanguard engine) to convert to the BB-4-REM option in order to aggregate the REMSTAR or OMNISTAR options. |
